Rachel and Meagan ensured we had stockings for Christmas.
These couple of pictures come from the aggressive sightseeing day that Marcie, Dean, Gayle and I made of the Vatican museum and Borghese gallery.
This probably doesn't need explaining.
Back at Amalfi.
One day Dean, Josiah, Timothy, Elijah and I took the ferry to a nearby island, Procida. What started out as a little rain turned into full-fledged squall.
Along with Phil and Fran we took another trip into Rome this past Saturday. This time it was to see ancient Rome.

Thanks for the update... It's always fun to see what you're doing.
Is the car still parked there or did you get it out...:)
Yeah! Thanks for the news!
Wow! That puzzle is amazing. I hope those socks were all washed before you used them as stockings.
I have been to Procida, too! My friends and I met some random person at the train station in Naples when we arrived from who knows where with our backpacks during college. He asked if we had someplace to stay (we should have been suspicious) and told us about these tiny cottages on a little island. We were sketched out but sold on the idea so we took the ferry, walked a ways when we arrived on Procida, and praise God, the cottages not only existed, but were nestled in a lemon grove on a cliff above the Mediterranean with our own private beach! I'm glad you guys got to visit!
Too bad you didn't have the Mini with you or maybe you could have just gotten on either end and lifted it out into the street.
I'm so happy to see you are enjoying the apartment and the local sites. I found some great white wine on Procida when we were there. Rented a moped and rode all over the island one day with Navy buddy. Almost missed the last ferry home to Naples...long story.
Greg, thanks for the news. Say hello to the landlords Lucio and Genaro for Kathy and I and to Alphonso at Madigans if you happen by. The neighbor across the hall with the nice patio - Angela and her husband were good friends to Kathy, tell them we say Ciao! I hope you have had a great experience. Lets break some bread when you get back and share Italy stories.
Its official...I'm retired USN as of 1 March 09. What a good ride.
Ciao,
Kevin
Great pics Greg! Love the one of Gayle in Rome. Hug that woman for me!!
Love to all,
Pam
I believe this is your last week together in Italy, correct? Praying for you all as you wind down!
Love,
Pam
